Meet MARILYS
We are beyond sad to announce that Marilys has gone to the rainbow bridge, she had an inoperable, agressive tumour that and she would have lived just a couple of weeks in immense pain so we chose to give her the dignity and respect she deserved and let her go knowing she knew she was loved and we knew she was happy with us in her last weeks.
It is always devastating to lose an animal here at the shelter and Marilys is no different. She was really starting to turn around and looked to be improving health wise. Rest in Peace sweetheart. No more pain now. <3
Here is lovely Marilys. She is such a sweet girl but is very nervous to begin with. She loves to have cuddles and to go for walks and is learning how to walk on a lead. Marilys has leishmaniosis but this is easily controlled with just one tablet a day. Marilys is medium sized and has lovely soft white fur. We would really love for Marilys to find her own forever family but until then we would be very pleased if she was offered a foster home whilst she waits! she is a good girl but doesn;t do well at the shelter….
