About Us

Valle Verde Animal Rescue

Based in the Granada Coast, our mission is to re-home the dogs and cats we rescue from our local area before they go into a kill pound, where they have just a few days to be adopted before they are destroyed.

The purpose of this site is to find homes for these animals, to raise funds and awareness of their plight and to reach out for your help in carrying out our mission to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home them.

‘Help’ can come in many forms from donating as little as €1 a month to fostering or actually adopting one of our furry ‘rescuees’.

Wherever you are and whatever you have to offer YOU can help. To find out how, please explore our site or contact us here.

What can you do?

Make a donation

We greatly appreciate your donation, however large or small, which enables us to continue our work rescuing and re-homing vulnerable animals in Southern Spain. We have a number of options available for making donations and it’s not just money that we are looking for.

Adopt & Foster

Adoption is the end goal for all our animals and we couldn’t do it without you. Subject to a home check, you can adopt one or more of our cats or dogs wherever you live.  We organise foster care and get your new pet ready to travel and then it’s over to you. Fees vary according to individual needs and location. Find out more…
