In the words of his foster carer: Daniel is a loving solid dog who needs a firm hand when he gets lively. He’s sometimes a little excitable and barky, but very affectionate and intelligent. He’s obedient when he listens, but sometimes goes a bit deaf if the fun has kicked off.

Daniel is very affectionate and loves attention but is not needy, he just loves to be cuddled and in on everything. He gets on very well with the other dogs, but he barks at the cats – in a home situation I think he would be ok around cats with some training.

I do not walk him on the lead but I know he could be trained very easily to do this.  He currently lives in the paddock so is not yet house trained.

He is also a very handsome dog, like his brother Matteo. His coat is like velvet and he shines with health and vigour, really a stunning dog. We’ve had him since he was just over 2 months old and he has never known anything but love and affection, plus some good discipline. His brother is Matteo, fostered at the same time.
